The overall aim of this course is to provide international students with basic communication skills at level A1, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The course aims to develop the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills necessary to manage simple situations students may encounter in their daily lives. Students will be able to introduce themselves using common expressions for introductions and greetings, talk about family members and home life in simple sentences, describe their daily activities, and ask and answer questions about basic topics such as times, prices, and locations.

They can also give simple directions by describing their environment and learn basic planning expressions. The grammar and vocabulary acquired within the course will enable students to meet their daily needs and solve simple problems.
