This course looks into individuals, groups and structures and how within an organisation these three agents interact, affect the organisation internally, and externaly in relation with its external business environment. It analyses individual and group behaviour, how these influence organisational behaviour and performance through advanced theories and case studies. Fruthermore, it investigates organisational level factors' impact on organisational behaviour and performance. Topics covered include organisational dynamics, social and psychological foundations of trust, psychological contracts, creativity, change and proactive behaviour at work, team and conflict processes, organisational change and adaptability, innovation and creativity, talent management, theories of leadership, social capital and organisations, issues and dilemmas in organisational life.
